MACKAY WATERFRONT RIVERSIDE PRECINCT

Construction of the riverside revitalisation works at Mackay Waterfront Riverside Precinct. Scope of work includes: roadworks to convert the 2-way section of River Street into a 1-way street (west bound) & formalise car parking (angle & disabled). General minor earthworks to support the roadworks. Shared footpaths & surface treatments. Significant landscaping improvements (numerous trees & other plantings, seating, irrigation). Bespoke pavilion shelters & furniture. Public toilet facilities. Bank stabilisation works (tidal works) along the rock wall opposite Burns Street in areas of poor structural condition. Road lighting, feature lighting & other electrical works. New water & sewer infrastructure works as required to service the area. Site establishment/disestablishment. Clearing & grubbing works. Earthworks. Concrete works. Construction of landscape & revegetation works. Supply & installation of road signage. Construction of stormwater structures & protective treatments. Sprayed seal designs including quality testing. Construction of paving works. Disposal of all waste & excess materials. Restoration of all disturbed areas.
