NRMA AIRLIE BEACH HOLIDAY PARK REDEVELOPMENT

Redevelopment at the existing NRMA Airlie Beach Holiday Park including provision of additional accommodation & an upgrade to the onsite infrastructures. Removal of pool amenities & expand pool area. Renovation of existing amenity building. Construction of new camp kitchen to include communal facility with shade/ barbeques/ wash up facilities & seating to serve as a communal facility for the entry precinct integrating with the swimming pool & amenities. Construction of 3 buildings each comprising 4 motel style units. Reconfiguration of existing caravan sites. Installation of 6 x 2 bedroom elevated duplex poolside cabins, 13 x mix 2 & 3 bedroom villas & 5 new cabins near entry (replacing 3 budget cabins), new playground for kids & amenity building at southern sites. Expansion to pool deck area & new shade. Conversion of existing laundry space into kid’s club. New open village green for the park including green space for activities & events, movie screen & a pavilion. New water park & sheltered seating area. New amenities for the main recreation precinct with kiosk/food & beverage outlet. Relocations of 2 existing lodging buildings & conversion from 8 rooms into 4 worker’s/staff accommodations. Relocation of 2 existing holiday homes & additional 1 holiday home. Creation of 6 new power sites. New signage.
