11 April 2025
A direct extension to the existing Carborough Downs underground workings in a south easterly direction, utilising underground Bord and Pillar mining methodology with the ability to produce up to 1.5 Mtpa Run of Mine (ROM). Additional exploration and geological assessments will be utilised to determine if Longwall mining can be undertaken in the future years of the project. This determination will be based on comprehensive geological and geotechnical analysis, considering strategic business requirements and future market conditions. The Project consists of an area of 775.93 ha of prospective underground resource with the potential to extend the mine life of Carborough for a further 11 years.
