SOUTH WALKER CREEK MRA2C COAL PROJECT

South Walker Creek mine is an open cut mine, operating an open-cut, dragline & truck/excavator method since 1996. Project includes progressive opening & operating low strip ratio pits along the underdeveloped strike of available resource. Coal handling & preparation plant expansion to 1,200 tph via construction of a dense media cyclone modular plant. Increased run of mine up to 9.4Mtpa. Key items include: creek diversion of approximately 8.5km; flood protection levees of approximately 7km length; 66kva powerline relocation; water infrastructure connections & alternative mine affected water storage location. Also includes new maintenance workshop. Mining expected to commence early 2025. New 20MW gas to electricity power station.
