BURDEKIN RIVER PIPELINE

Construction of a 105km long underground pipeline to transport water from Burdekin Falls Dam along a corridor that will link the Burdekin River at Home Hill, through to Gumlu, Guthalungra, & on to to Merinda in the Bowen horticulture region. The pipeline could distribute up to 100 gigalitres of water to agricultural & primary industry customers a year & irrigate up to 40,000 hectares of land.
