Queensland Government

GW3 is currently partnering with the Queensland Government across several programs and projects. From Greater Whitsunday Regional Jobs Committee and the development of Greater Foundations event series to the Greater Digital Skills Program funded by Jobs Queensland through the Grow Your Own Regional Workforce Program.

Along with work across workforce and digital skilling GW3 and the Queensland Government collaborate within the 2023 Biofutures Leaders group. This has led to the development of the Greater Whitsunday Biomanufacturing Blueprint 1.0, which coincided with the announcement of the State Development Area at Racecourse Mill and Rosella.

The Queensland Government also has supported the release of  The Greater Whitsunday METS Sector – A Revenue Diversification Strategy, in September 2024.
