MACKAY REGIONAL COUNCIL PIONEER VALLEY BRIDGES WORKS

Construction works associated with rehabilitation &/or renewal of the bridge assets within 5 sites at Mackay Regional Council – Pioneer Valley area (Site 1 – Walker-Finn Road Bridge – Pinnacle, Site 2 – Kowari Road Finch Hatton – Cattle Creek, Site 3 – Lucas Paddock Road – Pinnacle, Site 4 – Newman’s Road – Devereux Creek & Site 5 – Owens Creek Loop Road, Finch Hatton – Cattle Creek) Scope of work includes: site establishment/disestablishment. Location & protection of existing services. Provision for traffic, including detour & side track. Maintenance of detour & side tracks during construction. Removal of detours & side-tracks at completion including rehabilitation of the site. Clearing & grubbing works. Earthworks. Subsoil & pavement drainage works. Concrete works. Construction of landscape & revegetation works. Supply & installation of road furniture/signage. Design, supply & construction of required bridge components for rehabilitation works. Supply & construction of cast-in-situ piles. Structural steelworks. Coating systems & repairs to structural steel elements. Grouting repairs & remedial concrete works. Abutment & wingwall protection work. Construction of stormwater structures & protective treatments. Dewatering of construction activities. Construction of pavements. Sprayed seal designs including quality testing. Construction of bitumen/aggregate pavement sprayed sealing works. Construction of asphalt paving works. Disposal of all waste & excess materials to a legal disposal site. Restoration of all disturbed areas.
