POITREL COAL MINE CONTINUATION PROJECT

Continuation of the Poitrel open cut coal mine. The mine produced first coal in 2006 and has access to high-quality infrastructure, producing a mix of hard coking coal and pulverised coal injection coals for export to overseas customers, including in Asia and Europe. Environmental approvals received to continue development of Ramp 10 North. Vegetation clearing, topsoil stripping, de watering activities commenced to prepare the pit layback, maintaining coal flow in the future.
