URANNAH RENEWABLE ENERGY HUB STAGES 1 & 2

The Bowen renewable energy hub is 11.4 gigawatt renewable engery project. 1.4 gigawatts of pumped hydro, utilising the proposed Urannah Dam project delivered 2 stages. Stage 1 -A pumped hydro site producing 750 megawatts and 16 hours of storage (12,000 megawatt hours). Stage 2 – A pumped hydro site producing 12,000 megawatt hours of storage. Wind Farm. Up to 1.5 gigawatts of solar generation &a 200-megwatt hydrogen electrolyser. The project would connect to the National Electricity Market through 16 kilometres of transmission lines.
