John Fordyce spent 20 years with not for profit company MRAEL Limited and was appointed General Manager in 2000.

During this time, he helped grow the organisation from a local enterprise into an organisation with a national footprint engaged in Australian and international business activities.  John’s pursuit of excellence and focus on “delivering on promises” was integral to the development and execution of the strategic vision of the organisation.

Recently John has served as a director on the boards of several not-for-profit boards and acts as a Director and Principal in his own business 25Str8 – specialising in corporate governance, strategy and performance. John has made a significant voluntary contribution of time, over many years, to the governance, leadership and economic associations of the region. John has experience working across the resources, heavy industry and agricultural sectors and has an understanding of the economic opportunities and challenges that face the region into the future.
