Developed through funding from BHP Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) and delivered through the Chair of Automation and Future Work Skills in collaboration with Greater Whitsunday Alliance.
BMA Chair in Automation and Future Work Skills, CQUniversity’s Professor Rob Brown said the course provides a practical first step for businesses wanting to understand how they can measure and reduce their greenhouse gas emissions.

Participants will explore thedifferent scopes of greenhouse gas emissions, climate impacts, and what decarbonisation looks like in the real world—from daily business decisions to long-term strategy. The course takes approximately two hours to complete and includes a digital badge and Certificate of Completion.

The development of the micro-credentials part of GW3’s Decarbonisation Accelerated program which has been working with dozens of local businesses and stakeholders in the decarbonisation space for the last two years.
This course complements Decarbonisation Accelerated by offering accessible, self-paced education that anyone can take part in—no matter their industry or role.
