As the Senior Finance and Operations Coordinator, Lynette brings to GW3 many years of dedicated experience. However, there is nothing she loves more than continuously learning. Having spent a significant part of her career navigating the complexities of the financial sector – she started in taxation, which she credits for her strong foundation in financial reporting and compliance – Lynette has turned her hand to the many facets of finance, with roles in accounting and financial planning, where she honed her skills in navigating regulatory requirements, strategic financial management and long-term planning.

Put simply, she is really good at taking complex, multi-faceted issues, projects, tasks and challenges and breaking them down so they are understandable – and most importantly, manageable. It was a crucial skill put to good use having joined GW3 in its infancy.

Lynette played a key role in shaping the organisation’s financial landscape; streamlining operations and implementing efficient processes to accommodate our expanding needs and enhance our ability to deliver impactful economic development projects.

Her day job takes on everything from financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting to regulatory compliance, human resource management, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement.  And in amongst it all, are those chances to learn, adapt to daily challenges, and support a team she is proud to be part of as they work together to align resources to enable the achievement of strategic goals.
